TAMPA – On Thursday night, Jefferson wide receiver Jermaine Eskridge saved the best for last in the spring jamboree at Plant. The 6’3″, 190-pounder reeled in a touchdown on a tipped ball up against scrappy Robinson cornerback Kyriece Lake.

Eskridge, a rising junior was the focus of both the Plant and Robinson defense as they matched up with the highly talented wideout for a quarter each. He has over 30 offers on his table and by the looks of things, it would appear he really likes Florida, one of his top offers. Eskridge wore a UF hand towel around his waist in this game.
He drew a pass interference call against Plant and certainly looked like a grown man out there. As long as he continues to gain separation and use his size to win jump ball situations he should shine this season.
With Miami commit quarterback Cade Weldon inactive, the Dragons turned to rising junior Matt Gaffney. Weldon and Eskridge should be in sync come August.
